It took some time, but Cadillac's first three-row crossover is finally here. The 2020 Cadillac XT6.
This vehicle is incredibly stylish, spacious, as well as capable.

Let's go check it out! Here with us today is the Premium Luxury trim level.
This vehicle is approximately 198.5 inches long and 69.9 inches wide.
Overall, the exterior styling is unique and has Galvano finished appointments.
Below, we have exclusive 20-inch 6 split-spoke alloys with polished/Android finished wheels.
This has LED front and rear lights with front cornering lamps.
These are standard on both trims and provide additional illumination while making a turn.
Up top we have Galvano roof rails, which enhance the look of your XT6.
In the back, we have a hands-free power liftgate and cargo space to fit just about anything you need.
With the back seat down, you get 357 litres of space 1,220 litres with the second row down, 2,229 litres with the first row down.

Cadillac XT6 Interior
One of the things that I was really excited to see with the XT6 was the acoustic laminated windshield.
Basically what this is, is it prevents outside noise from getting inside the cabin, giving you a nice quiet environment to relax and drive in.
As well, while we're on the topic of windshields and glass and all that.
This also comes standard with something called deep tinted glass which is basically like tinted glass except it provides you more protection as well as privacy.
Rolling deeper into the interior, we have the unique Premium Luxury interior color decor.
And authentic exotic wood interior accents which gives a very lavish, or posh feel.
This also comes with the platinum package, which includes front and rear premium carpeted floor mats:
- Leather throughout,
- Microfiber suede headliner,
- Semi-aniline leather seating surfaces.

2020 Cadillac Features Include Driver
A few other great features include driver and front passenger ventilated front seats,
heated front and rear seats, the UltraView power sunroof with a power sunshade feature which blocks light, and keeps your cabin cool.
We saw that the XT6 is roughly about the same size as the Audi Q7 but actually offers a roomier third row.
The seats right here actually slide and move forward, so it makes it easier to access the third row as well.
Through the colder months that we're about to have very very soon, many people would be excited to know that this does have a heated steering wheel.
However, the cool thing about it is that it turns on based on the temperature inside your vehicle.
So for example, when you have your heated seat on it will automatically turn on your steering wheel as well, which means you don't have to manually do it yourself.

Cadillac XT6 Safety Features
The XT6 comes with all modern active safety features that you would expect.
Some of these include:
- Following distance indicator,
- Forward collision alert,
- Front pedestrian braking,
- Lane change alert with side blind spot zone alert,
- The lane keep assist with lane departure warning,
- Rear cross-traffic alert.
A few nice additions also include night vision, as well as enhanced visibility and technology package.
Some of the features included in this package include rear camera mirror washer, As well as head-up display.
In addition to this, the XT6 has the HD rear vision camera, as well as this other feature called IntelliBeam.
This is one of my favourite features because it automatically turns on and off your high beams depending on the traffic conditions at that time.
So, if you happen to forget to turn off your high beams, you don't have to worry because it'll do it for you.

2020 Cadillac XT6 Tech Features
This has
- 8-inch touchscreen display with natural voice recognition technology,
- Three handy USB jacks for each row of seats,
- Wide range of options that include Wi-Fi hotspot,
- Apple CarPlay,
- Android Auto,
- Wireless charging.
One of our favourite features that Cadillac offers is Teen Driver technology.
This allows you to coach your new driver even when you aren't present.
Set a speed alert, a volume limit, and it even provides an in-vehicle report card to track your teen's driving performance.

2020 Cadillac XT6 Performance
Getting down to performance, power comes from a 310-horsepower V6 engine, which is the same as the XT5 crossover.
Even with this said, this is slightly more power than any of its competitors.
This can tow up to 4,000 pounds, which is more than enough for light duty loads.
In terms of fuel economy, this gets 13.5 liters/100km city, 9.7/100 highway, and 11.8/100km combined.
